TU DANCE presents THREAT by Yusha-Marie Sorzano in 2026!

TU Dance will produce and present Yusha-Marie Sorzano's epic evening length work, THREAT. THREAT is an evening-length concert dance theater work that aims to provoke an interrogation of the roles we play as individuals and community in hierarchies. Using a physical language and soundscape that fuses multicultural traditions and styles of the West and the African Diaspora, this social exploration invites audiences into a modern narrative that speaks to the universal experience of authority, obedience, and rebellion.

Sorzano Dance Works is the artistic home of choreographer Yusha-Marie Sorzano. Through this platform, Sorzano champions emerging artists, encouraging dancers to take creative risks, develop their voices, and contribute to the creation of meaningful, impactful work.

Sorzano's pieces are composed of multifaceted contemporary movement and theatricality that are bathed in eclectic and evocative scores and set design.
